Moving images get counted twice because of JPG and MP4 file
Trying to migrate off of Google Photos and some of the images are "moving" images that have a JPG and a MP4 file associated to them. When I upload them to an album in Immich, the Album will say that there's 18 items but then when I do a select all with CTRL+A, it says 10 items selected.
Am I doing something wrong or is there missing metadata to tie the files together? Got to this point following this old migration guide https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions/1340.
I've tried deleting the files+album and re-uploading but the same occurs. There's also some wonkiness trying to delete them all where I can select all and delete the 10 items it allows me to select but the remaining 8 I have to go to the Trash folder and permanently delete the 10 earlier items to get rid of the remaining 8.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).

Yes but is it not weird that the item counts don't match?

Yes that's unfortunate 🙂 but do you need help here or just wanted to report?
Oh. I guess I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong or I could make an issue in GitHub if better addressed there.
I'd like help if there's a way to make the numbers match.

I just figured it out a bit. If I only upload the *.jpg files, there's still an embedded video in those files.
Adding the corresponding *.mp4 files screws everything up.
