Several games freeze the whole system on startup
I use Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS on a computer with nVidia graphics card. The system is set to use dGPU in performance mode.
Whenever I try to run the games, the whole system freezes. To narrow down the scope of this help request, I decided to upload the
Fall Guys logs. I tested that game, as it seems to be not that demanding, so it seemed like a good candidate.

are all games causing this issue or its just specific to certain games?
Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton with umu instead:
1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest"
2. Enable umu in "Settings" (Heroic sidebar) -> "Advanced" -> "Use UMU as Proton runtime"
Note: For a visual guide, see attached image
3. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest"

All of them freeze my system. It wasn't the case before, when I was on a different system (I believe it was ubuntu 24.10). Now after a fresh install of the pop os, the issue started to appear
I didn't mention it in the post, but I use the flatpak version and went through the steps in the readme, so did reinstallation
I followed the bot's instructions, still freezes the computer and I need to force shut it down

I dont see anything that could cause system-wide freeze in your log, at least for me. You could at least try to turn off fsync and esync or if it does not help try run them with your iGPU

what's curious is that i've swapped systems this week and before the swap, on the very same computer, everything worked fine 🤔

could be driver issue so maybe try to run the game in iGPU
also mybe you could run this in terminal to see what is the issue
journalctl -p 3 -x
