Password doesn't work (Yes I already reset it)

Marking as bug because as far as I can tell I am doing everything right, although error on my part is of course possible.
Recently, my password stopped working. "sorry, wrong password". I can't tell you when exactly since I have autologin enabled. Both in the KDE kwallet dialog boxes, as well as on the command line for
I was pretty sure I haven't changed it, but I decided to follow the guide: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/Reset_Forgotten_User_Password/
So I went and reset it, and... it still doesn't work. I am losing my mind over here haha.
