Issue with `live` and `layer` not working together due to timestamp handling

Short question it seems like effect vitest it.live doesn't work in conjunction with it.layer anymore. How would I remedy that at best? The utilized service uses it's own timestamp based on the current time. So if I want to check against it, I'd need to have my elements work on the current time as well and not on 1970
