Sentry Alternatives
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has experience with alternatives to Sentry and had any thoughts they could share.
I am not particularly unhappy with Sentry, just also curious to know if there is a better solution out there.

I did try couple alternatives, but to be honest, I find Sentry most versatile and easy to use. NewRelic is another good alternative - less focused on error handling and more on performance.
Some framewokrs have their own dedicated solutions that oare often more indepth, but rarely can you use them for all your projects (unless you always stick to the same framework ofc).
Take a look at Telebugs (https://telebugs.com). It’s self-hosted, but the installation process is dead simple - literally just run one command and you’re done.
I built it to be 100% compatible with Sentry. You never share your data with them, and there’s no subscription - so you don’t risk running into overages.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’d be happy to set up a demo instance just for you (so you can explore it at your own pace)
I built Bugsink (https://www.bugsink.com) for that exact reason: Sentry works, but I wanted something simpler to run, with fewer moving parts. It's Sentry SDK-compatible, can be self-hosted with a single container (or used as a hosted service), and doesn't do per-event pricing. Full stack traces with local variables, real-time alerts, issue grouping, etc.
There's a free tier for the hosted setup and the self-hosted setup is polyform-shield licensed. Happy to answer questions if you're looking into alternatives.
Bugsink: Self-hosted Error Tracking
Bugsink is Self-hosted Error Tracking. 30 second installation, Sentry SDK compatible, scalable to millions of events per day.
