PC black screen crash. needs full restart
My girlfriend is trying to play Valorant but it keeps crashing her pc. It gives a black screen and the only thing she can do is restart the pc. I though it was the graphics card because her pc was a bit outdated so we bought a whole new pc. She still has the same problem..
Does anyone know a fix? she does not have this problems in other games. I tried a few things:
reinstalling
running as administrator
firewall permissions
turning of tpm
Diffrent monitor
diffent hard drive
No fix yet.

Open task manager > performance and show ss
Not sure how because of the black screen. there is no possible way for me to see anything. Or do you want a ss just with valorant running in the background?
The black screen appears after you run valorant right?
Yes, but it is diffrent everytime. Today she got a black screen 6 times. and a few days ago she only had 1 crash.
No need to run valorant
Just open task manager > performance tab and show ss

Yes
Open and she ss
I also did the stress test thing from amd with no problems or struggles. Before this pc she had an nvidia 1070 with the exact same problem.
Quick question tho, does the black screen appear as soon the you launch the game, or does it happen mid game?
Most of the times it is midgame. Sometimes it is in the main menu. Never occured when booting up valorant
Soo you are able to go to range or queue up?
Most of the times yes
Try this, launch the game, go to settings > video settings > change to windowed mode
And then see if the problem persists
Tried it, tried full screen, windowed mode and windowed borderless
no difrence
Did you fix it?
uninstall reinstall your gpu and windows graphic drivers
