Error With Heroic

Trying to boot up an Epic Game, lead this to happening.

I already accepted the new EULA, it still bugged out. And now, I can't seem to log into Epic with Heroic because this message pops up in the screenshot. (note, this also happens when logging in on a browser)

for that error, this is what users have reported as possible solutions:

use a US VPN
disable IPV6
use a mobile phone connection

once you are logged in you can go back to a normal connection

I have a similar issue but heroic basically logged me out of my epic and when I try to log back in it says this

for that one, login to the epic store in your normal browser and it should ask you to accept their new privacy policy

what url are you opening in your browser? don't copy the one from heroic's login process, open https://store.epicgames.com/

also, it probably even works with any endpoint on a VPN, I said US cause that's what users reported but I'm sure US is not the only one that works

also, to try with a mobile connection, it depends on the phone but some allow you to share internet access when connected with a USB cable, also I think all phones have the option to create a wifi hotspot to share the mobile connection with a wifi network emitted by the phone

my assumption is their regular internet is somehow misconfigured which is why any vpn and and mobile tethering or turning off ipv6 works

Oh, forgot to update: Proton VPN fixed the login issue and I'm back in there.
