in my notes, 2 years ago I tested this game using Wine-GE and it worked out of the box, maybe try that? doesn't hurt to try
also, always delete the prefix folder when changing wines so it's re-created from scratch

just tried this game, i have a similar system
ryzen 5950x
radeon 6700xt
arch
With a fresh install and prefix, this game did not work with proton-ge + umu, but it worked fine out of the box with wine-ge. I didnt change any config settings.

Install Wine Dependencies by following this guide
If this does not immediately resolve your issue, you might also have to delete your Wineprefix (by default it's in
~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/<game name>)
