iOS app not uploading only missing items
oI am trying to do a pretty large backup from my iPhone (3000+ files, 250GB).
I left the app running uninterrupted for hours and found it was hung up on a file at about 300 remaining. That’s fine. i figured i’d just go check the file, check the logs, etc. I didn’t see anything noteworthy. I did delete the file it was stuck on just in case.
Then i figured i’d run the backup again for it to upload the rest of the items that it acknowledges are not backed up. Every time i try to backup now it starts with much more recent files every time and seems to be uploading the same files first. Then eventsully it gets hung up at around the same spot. If i delete the file it was stuck on, it’ll get hung up at the same spot again but seemingly one file later.
Why does it restart uploading on files it already has? I believe it should start with the ones it knows are not backed up.

the closest i can find to this error on the github is here
https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/15419
but it states its a visual bug. i’m finding that occasionally when i rerun the backup it’ll eventually lower it by one or two in a run but never completes.
Are you using local IP connection?
sorry i left this hanging.
i went though the steps and once i connected locally to the ip:port it refreshed everything and the files it was uploading were actually uploaded and the counter went to zero. unsure of the cause though.
i know i use cloudflare for my own hosting.
