As a user: I should have the autonomy to set this to be 'dismissed' perpetually, and/or config'd to different levels of 'verbosity' as to leverage the notification area for user attention, and prevent 'noise-deafness', it should be able to be set to various 'levels of communication' such as; "ALL", "ALERTS", "UPDATES", "NEWS", "TIPS", etc... .

AS A USER:
- I should have the option to select whether to delete all, or a select category or two, or more, etc. (Or possibly even a hover expended picklist?)
