Automatic DB Backups help
So I'm reading DB backups are just as important as the actual media files. I have automatic DB backups turned on in the settings but I am not seeing them in the UPLOAD_LOCATION/backups folder.
Also the postgresql log doesn't show any activity since 1/3/25 and the entries don't really show anything that indicates any backup was done. The Immich server log does actually show a DB backup succesful message though but I don't know where it's being saved at:
[Nest] 8 - 01/22/2025, 1:46:40 AM LOG [Microservices:BackupService] Database Backup Success
I noticed there was an update that had optional steps to add a DB_DATA_LOCATION to the .env and compose file but I didn't do that as it says it was optional.
My media is backed up via Proxmox backup server but I want to make sure the DB is also being backed up.
Thank you!

Because of the way you've set up your custom locations, you're not mounting the automatic db dumps folder
I read through that but i'm still not quite understanding what I need to do to fix this
Ok maybe I see it now. Do I just need to add the BACKUP_LOCATION=/custom/path/immich/backups to env and ${BACKUP_LOCATION}:/usr/src/app/upload/backups to compose?
Sure but you also do not have any mount point for /usr/src/app/upload
See how we don’t mount upload/library/ and upload/upload/ folders separately , we mount the root then selected sub folders
ok yeah I see that. Is there a way to fix those mount points iwthout breaking everything?
I think the reason I did it like this initially was to have my media files like images and videos on my mass HDD zfs volume and everthing else on the fast ssd
