External library: New folders not included/scanned
I have set up Immich in Docker on an RPI4. My photos are stored on my NAS and I have mounted the SMB share on the NAS on my RPI (auto mounted on reboot if that is relevant). I have then followed the instructions for setting up external library in Immich and the initial scan has been run. All works fine and my photos show up in Immich as expected.
I then add more photos to the shared folder on the NAS - several new folders with photos. I have the periodic scan job set to run every night and it has run. However, no new photos appear in Immich. If I log on to the RPI where Immich is running and navigate to the /mnt/photo folder I can see the new folders and images there. However, they do not appear in neither the Immich timeline nor in the Folder view. In the Folder view all folders that existed when I did the initial scanning are listed, but the new ones are not.
Any ideas what might be wrong?
My setup:
* RPI4 running Debian 12
* Immich version 1.124.2
* NAS is a Synology DS 1817+

...and I found the problem: The shared folder on the NAS had been changed to include a recycle bin fodler which is only accessible to admins. As the user that mounts the folder to the RPI is not an admin, this user cannot see the #recycle folder and hence the scan fails and stops. Adding the #recycle folder to the excluded path seems to have fixed the issue.
