Ayaneo GEEK1S touchscreen doesnt work after sleep

I am having an issue where the touchscreen doesnt work, no response to any touch actions, after waking from sleep.

I have to restart the device for the touchscreen to enable again. Dont know where to begin troubleshooting this.
