EA App won't install to Heroic.
I went through the steps on your webpage to install the EA app in Heroic, but partially through the install I get a black screen and the installation actually froze. I am using the Windows installer for EA Apps. They have a MacOS one, that isn't what I downloaded Heroic for. I am stuck!

To help you, we need a game log. Please see the following images on how to get it.

Sorry, I have no way of getting a log. When the install failed I deleted the empty shell from my library.
I need clearer instructions than the webpage has to install the EA App.
Also after the games failed to install I was thinking maybe I just don't have right dependencies, so I clicked the Wine Manager tab and I downloaded Game-Porting-Toolkit-Latest and Wine-Crossover-Latest. I have zero knowledge of getting games to run in Heroic. I need instructions that actually work.
A quickstart guide for Mac would be nice. Please publish one on the webpage.

Unfortunately as stated in your other thread, there's very little chance of a "universal" sort of quick guide. As problems are often unique to hardware, or the game or the combination of hardware and game.
Mac is an incredibly difficult system to deal with when running windows games, and it has a pretty large failure rate compared to linux (as in its just impossible to run some games).
Additionally, the only things heroic could create a general guide for are already relatively understandable, installing a game, logging in, etc. Applying fixes and tweaks for games to get them running is often unique so its very difficult or impossible to create a guide that can cover every game uniquely.
If you are looking for an easy experience, i suggest a console, or a linux or windows pc, all three of these tend to just work.
Mac is probably the worst option for gaming.

Why do they even have the EA App install if the games don't even work?

? they work
you never sent a log in so who knows why it didnt work in your case.

The install failed so badly that I am not even sure if there was a log. I went back and I explored the logs folder, but there wasn't even a log there for EA Apps.
I have no idea, which version of Wine to use, etc. I even questioned some of the steps. My point is I followed the steps in the guide step by step, but the installer actually froze and left a black rectangle on my screen, so I had to force close the installer.
