7. :blue_square: tried an incognito window, disabled extensions, cleared mobile app cache, logged out and back in, different browsers, etc. as applicable

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)

Why not? PDFs are often higher quality than JPEGs. That's because JPEGs compress images, resulting in a loss of quality that you can't recover. Images saved as PDF are of very high quality and even customizable, making them the preferred file format for printers.😉
I believe the d in pdf stands for document, which is not technically an image 😉 Trying to prevent scope creep in immich mostly
if the PDF has an image that you want to save, there are tools to extract the images from the PDF
also most PDF images are compressed using either JPEG or J2K
OK thanks. I'm looking for a way to communicate with my users via this platform. Not all of my users can handle the application. I wanted to include a few documents including photos. A kind of admin service for information and instructions etc. I currently do this with jpeg, but the text quality is not that special.
Iirc it (kind of) supports SVG? Don’t take my word for it but you could try
