Texas ping changes??

Ive always played on texas servers and gotten around 20-22 ping, but about a week ago it jumped up to near 50 without any of the other servers changing whatsoever. How do i go about resolving this?? I'm currently trying to see if my ISP changed routes into texas, but any kind of DNS flushing hasnt done anything.
