Immages failing to upload and failing to display
I started experincing this issue after I updated to 125.3. I updtaed to 125.5 and it didn't fix anything.
I renamed the .env file to example.env because macos would not let me keep the name ".env"

I have...

renamed the .env file to example.envThis won't work because the docker-compose file is expecting .env I can create .env file on MacOS, can you doulbe check? Maybe you need to rename it in the command line
Or you need to change these value to match the file name

I just did this to attach it to the post. On the linux server it is .env
I have my own server that I ssh into and I didn't feel like using scp to copy the files so I just copy and pasted the contents lol
Can you run thumbnail generation job for all again? Along with metadata job for all?
Good idea. Should've thought of that lol
Failed to send job command
(Immich Server Error)
Looks like redis is not communicating perhaps?
Try docker compose down then docker compose up
Then run the job again
yes redis was not responding
its starting up again rn
Lots of errors in the log since running the jobs
how should I send the logs?
Copy to a file and send it here is fine
whoops thats the whole ssh session
redis stopped responding again
looks like redis communication is still bad
what is the file system you are running the server on?
uhh
how would I check that
would the output of "fdisk -l" suffice?
oh
tmpfs
im sorry I'm not super experinced with the linux terminal
Tmpfs... that doesnt sound right
serveradmin@multipurpose-server:/opt/immichdrive/immich-app$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 1.6G 1.6M 1.6G 1% /run
/dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv 98G 94G 0 100% /
tmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
/dev/sdb2 2.0G 182M 1.7G 10% /boot
/dev/sda2 1.8T 693G 1.1T 40% /opt/immichdrive
tmpfs 1.6G 16K 1.6G 1% /run/user/1000
serveradmin@multipurpose-server:/opt/immichdrive/immich-app$
Your disk is, very full
40%?
100% on your root partition
oh
zoinks
is there a disk usage command that shows like each folder's size for the root drive?
found it
du -h --max-depth=1
my /var/lib/docker folder is 58 GB 😭
docker image prune -a
Are you sure that won’t delete my Immich container?
yes
Ok🙏
Tysm!
Do you know what could’ve taken up that much space?
old docker containers/images
Maybe from updating Immich a bunch? I’m not sure. I only use docker for Immich
sure, every time you update you get a new version installed
unless you clean those out they stay there
Ahh ok
