add
WINEDEBUG=+fixme
as an environment variable, try to run the game again, post a new logxenial-blackOP•5mo ago

install d3dcompiler_43 and d3dcompiler_47 through winetricks
might also need vcrun_2015
xenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Did that and now i'm getting this:
xenial-blackOP•5mo ago

rising-crimson•5mo ago
that ain't right
i have a similar gpu, i'll see if i can get it running
launched without issue, but when i tried to minimize it during the opening cutscene i got a different crash to yours
i'm repairing it now, i'll let you know if there's anything different
rising-crimson•5mo ago
this worked for me
frustratingly, i can't tell you what packages were installed because i have the option for known fixes on, and that doesn't show in the logs

quickest-silver•5mo ago
there are no fixes for this game in the repo https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/known-fixes
the game should just work out of the box

this error doesn't look unique to linux
quickest-silver•5mo ago
@TimeFreeze have you tried repairing the game? it's in the 3-dots menu in the game page
xenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Tried that, still complains now that my GPU is unsupported.
rare-sapphire•5mo ago
check winecfg to see your windows version setting. if it's not already 10, change it to 10
xenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Why on earth was it set to Windows XP. Okay now the Unsupported GPU error is gone but it still wont start.

there is a bug in heroic 2.15.2 that, in some cases, when using proton+umu, the game redistributables are not installed properly
maybe you can try deleting the prefix
/home/timefreeze/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Kingdom Come Deliverance
and then run the game using wine-ge-latest
or you can try downloading a build from github maybexenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Deleting the prefix and running via wine-ge didnt work either. Honestly i have no idea whats wrong with Heroic. If i run the Executable via this it works just fine. But if i want to run it via Heroic or as a shortcut in Steam it just wont start.
It only happens with Kingdom Come Deliverance btw. Other games run just fine.

are your flatpak runtimes up to date?
xenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Should be? When i run flatpak update it says "Nothing to do."
Honestly no idea what’s wrong on my Heroic installation or whatever but Heroic simply refuses to launch the game. If I launch it with something else as mentioned above or now in my case with GOG Galaxy via Lutris it works without any issues. But with Heroic? Doesn’t start not sure why. But whatever I guess now i can play it and get my Achievements at least.

Add
PROTON_LOG=1
env var and try running it like that
It should create a heroic0 log in your home
Which should have necessary and useful infoxenial-blackOP•5mo ago
Should be this one:

i am having this problem on windows

The game will show the loading dialog and then immediately close. This is true if I launch right from my installed files, or Heroic, or Steam. But I can launch it from GOG Galaxy.
