Trying to install Piper (gaming mouse addon software)
Basically I'm trying to install Piper, https://github.com/libratbag/piper so I can utilize my Logitech gaming mouse on Linux. Following the instructions on the github page results in nothing but errors and basically Bazzite telling me the Meson build system is not installed.
The specfic error I get when trying to build piper from git using the command provided is this.
"meson.build:55:4: ERROR: Dependency "pygobject-3.0" not found, tried pkgconfig and cmake"
When I tried to install Meson, I went here: https://mesonbuild.com/Quick-guide.html and used the Python installation. It said "Requirement already satisfied: meson in /home/Ralkero/.local/lib/python3.13/site-packages (1.7.0)", so I attempted to install Ninja build and had zero luck there either. So I have no idea if I'm even going the right direction but if someone more experienced would help me understand where I've gone wrong I'd appreciate it.
