it says i need system restart to play

I restarted my pc multiple times, uninstalled and installed valorant again, and i still can't play, how do i fix this?

Press win+r Type services.msc Press enter Look for vgc Right click on vgc Properties Change startup type to automatic Apply Then start the service

hmmm the logs look really weird, let's wait for the hotfix that's being rolled out now and see if that fixes it for you if it still doesn't work we can try something else

it's being deployed globally, might take a few hours for the update to reach you but if riot client shows an update for valorant that should be it

can you check the file version of C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgk.sys right click vgk.sys -> properties -> details -> file version @mr daren

it'd mess up the vanguard logs and make things harder to diagnose it's better to do a clean run and get the logs so we can figure out exactly what went wrong
