Question: I am attempting to upload to my wifes profile using the immich cli

I believe its uploading the photos to the admin profile. I generated an API key and was sure to login to the cli using her email/credentials. I got confirmation that I was on her account yet the photos seem to be uploading to my profile. These are large google takeout dumps. I'm a little frustrated at my lack of understanding as I've already added a significant amount of her google takeout to my photo store. Could someone advise me on how to get this sorted out?

Ensure you're using her API key and it'll work. If you have any API keys generated on your account you could delete them to ensure that a wrong key isn't cached in your upload script somewhere

I am sure its an API key from her account. I used: sudo immich login (site server):port/api (then her api) it responded logging in then verified that it logged into her email address and user name then I started immich upload (smb mount) --recursive I can try a different removing the api keys, it does take 12+ hours to check hashes and duplicates I just want to make sure im doing it right before I restart the process.

I'd use immich-go for a large import myself as it checks files differently and faster, but what you did sounds like it should work
