server goes offline after a few minutes and restarting does not help
Ive been trying to set this up for a few days now, and had it running just now, but after just a few minutes the web panel stated "server offline" and i have yet to know why.
i tried restarting my ubuntu system and then doing the following steps:
mounting the drive ->
sudo docker compose down
-> sudo docker compose up -d
but the web panel is still not reachable, am i doing something wrong?
i am on a fresh ubuntu server LTS install if that matters.
docker-compose.yml
, and .env
file have been the default ones downloaded when installing via the reccomended docker compose way.
Recent changes: Plugged in a usb drive.
System information:
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64
Host: OptiPlex 7040
CPU: Intel i5-6500T (4) @ 3.100GHz
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530
Memory: 7802MiB
Immich version: latest.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).

and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.

NVM: it works now for some unknown reason..
Check out the database logs at
DB_DATA_LOCATION/logs
might give you a cluei if it works now i really dont have a reason to check, The best issues in IT are those that appear for no reason and disapear for the same.
