Problem to do Restore with Docker
Hello everyone, I'm trying to do a restore but I can't do it on my own. I'm not a Docker expert.
I had some problems with immich_postgres, and I couldn't solve it, I looked for some alternatives, and when I saw on the Immich website talking about Backup. I checked to see if it had a folder with the name backup, yes I do, and with the last backup on February 8th . I have my photos and videos on my HDD and the backup is there as well. But I've tried everything it says on the immich site (Backup and Restore) still the same. i can't do it, give me error or the server immich_postgres can't start.
Can anyone help me do a proper restore?

bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
Like the bot requested, you'll need to post more detail for us to be able to help you
I'm doing this

You have to fill in your db username etc
Itβs not just copy paste
I think on windows, depending on which terminal you use, the \ multiline doesn't actually work and you'll need to put it all on one line
Still the same. i appreciate your help. But i tried what you told me. different ways. Same error. I'm missing some step. I'm doing some detail wrong. Probably i will start from zero and upload the photos again. Thanks
Feel free to screenshot the command and I could point you to the error
after that, i can go forward to next step (docker compose pull) or i need to change something before do this step

That is the first step in restore so I don't really understand the question
I already made the backup. But the immich_server doesn't start.
Can anyone help me ?

Someone can help please?
Seems like the database credentials in your .env aren't right
You have to add the container for your database and restore the database as described there: https://immich.app/docs/administration/backup-and-restore/
Also, you need to fill in your db name and password in your .env file as described here: https://immich.app/docs/install/docker-compose
The log shows that immich can't connect to your database. Also note that you will need to restore your backup in your database container before spinning up the other containers. Otherwise Immich is missing all the database content
it's work. Many thanks π
