Remote connection not working

Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help out! 🙂 I've just recently installed Immich and transferred my Google Photos library to my local server. It's been great so far, however, I've encountered a problem. I can only access remote assets (meaning pictures that are on the server but not on my phone) when connected to my home network. As soon as I leave my home Immich won't load the pictures that are stored on the server. When I tap the top right icon while at home it shows the server storage as 76.8 GB out of 440GB used and the message "client and Server are up-to-date". Whenever I leave my home, the top-right icon icon shows a warning dot, when tapped, it shows 0GB of 0GB used and where it should say "client and server are up-to-date" displays something like "make sure you have access and that is connected" instead. ¿Is there a setting I should change to allow remote connection? I made sure the server is awake and working, it's only when I'm on a different network that I'm unable to access my photos

Immich doesn't automatically create a public connection. You will need to set up remote access yourself. You can read an intro here: https://immich.app/docs/guides/remote-access/
