Does anyone know if Velocity changes anything with the servers it manages? I'm seeing some weird behavior where a glitch (described below) works in singleplayer, but it doesn't on my velocity/fabric server. I wouldn't think it would, but I honestly can't think of any other explanation.
I'm trying to make an ender pearl stasis chamber that's triggered by a fishing rod, it's a fairly old trick, and it's not working on the server, but it is in singleplayer. You essentially use a fishing rod to keep a pearl stasis chamber open, unload the area, and once you reel the rod in, it triggers the ender pearl. It's not some issue with spawn chunks or me not setting it up wrong I’m fairly sure.
I expect it would be something weird about fishing rods returning when the player gets teleported to a different location, and/or how chunks are unloaded
