I've never seen this before :S Heroic is built using Electron, which is a chromium browser wrapped to work like an application, I'm suspecting that tool (Electron) is trying to get that access but this is the first time I see that message ever We don't really use any user location for anything in heroic Are you using a Heroic installer from the official releases?

it opens file:///app/bin/heroic/resources/app.asar/build/index.html (that's what I see printing window.location.href with the flatpak release)
