URL address bar refresh when loading dashboard

Hi, i have a frustrating issue. Homarr is set as the home page for my browser. When i open the browser i typically start typing a URL in the address bar but after a few seconds the address bar will refresh/reload and delete everything ive typed. This lines up with the loading ring on homarr and happens across safari and chrome.
Is there some way to prevent this?
