Album is out of sync - On this device shows wrong images vs real local folder.
I've noticed that my album photos aren't uploading correctly. To troubleshoot, I removed all local images from my phone, uninstalled Immich, cleared the app's data and cache, rebooted my phone, and reinstalled the app.
Currently, the images in my camera's local folder (as shown in Image 1) include a recent photo that hasn't been uploaded to Immich. However, the app shows "remainder 0," and the "total" and "backup" numbers match at 7. In Image 3, the "on this device" section is incorrect—only the first three photos are accurate. Images 4–7 are not on the device and are instead old photos (nearly a year old) that exist only on the cloud instance. This is confusing since I deleted all photos from my phone before reinstalling the app.
I also checked the Immich Docker logs with debug mode enabled, but I couldn't find any errors.

Hello, there are known issues with this mechanism. We hope to improve it in the future.
Has it started to have issues? This never had any issues with Android?

I am guessing you are stating the known issues with the 2 albums not being in sync. What about the issue with why they are not uploading all of the images? I never had any issue with this before.. worked great for .. god, over a year..

You should be able to long press on the image and click Upload
I can only see the missing photo on the camera gallery, or when I go into the " select folder to sync " and look into that folder, and see that the image is indeed on the phone but not uploaded to the server.
Does it not appear on the main photo stream?
Exactly, it is not showing there correct.
but it says 0 remain.
and I have hit the sync , and checks, uninstalls.. ect
as far as deleting cleaning the phone as i mentioned right .. starting fresh to think maybe something is out of wack
Yeah, there’s intermittent issues with sync and backup. I’ve never seen it miss an image totally but there’s nothing specific to do for now. Perhaps I have seen when the app gets reset certain IDs can get repeated (I think) and cause issues

There’s nothing specific we would recommend for now as the project remains in active development this does happen at times. Maybe someone else will have thoughts
I think its an ID issue
but it continues to happen, regardless of a reset
Hopefully in the future changes to the backup mechanism will improve these issues
