i've had iris before just for the shaders there's no pop up for it to install for fabric through please help me with this

what file are you trying to open
iris
more specifically?
that should only happen if you attempt to open the mod version of Iris (from Modrinth or CurseForge). Get the Iris Installer from https://www.irisshaders.dev/download
