Since most recent mobile update, continuous checking for assets
I just updated my server and the mobile app and since the update my phone has a notification for checking for new assets or backup service. Then I get the pop-up for immich is not responding and have to say wait or close.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)

So I tried a few things to fix this and I haven't seen it since my last adjustment. I force closed everything, took myself off the VPN, opened the app again, then reconnected to my VPN. Not sure if you're using a VPN, but that seemed to be my issue, as I haven't seen it again just yet. I'm going to leave this out there until I give it some time, but looks like for right now it is okay.
I lied. This did not work. I must've cleared the notification at some point because immich has been running in the background for 9 hours. Awesome haha. When I get some time I'll upload the rest of the files they require to look at the ticket.
