Get full sync for user always returns an empty people array
https://immich.app/docs/api/get-full-sync-for-user
I am writing an application that graphs the relationships of people.
When I use the full sync endpoint the people array is always empty and I have to send out a request per image to
'/api/assets/' + id
which is very slow.
Is there any way to tell the server that I need the people array populated during the full sync?7 Replies

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:No it doesn't look like it from the code. Just from looking it doesn't seem like that is what that call is used for. Seems like it's for getting assets for the mobile app sync
Ok. So I was just reading the API documentation. Is it wrong then?
Do you know of a way to get the information more efficiently? Sending indivdual requests for every asset works but its slow.
We're planning to remove this endpoint, so you probably won't want to use it
I am just using it to get all the ids for the images.
Can you just point me to the currently recommended api endpoints. That would be awesome!
If you just want to enumerate all assets we usually recommend the search endpoints
Ohh I did not think of this! That seems what I have been looking for!
