Don't get wrong I think Apify is great for launching simple things like a youtube scraper etc. but for things like deploying a 30 Agent Team as an app I am starting to wonder if the learning curve for using Apify to do this is worth the time?"
is YES, it's totally worth the time !
After days of trying I got everything for my Gemini Video Analysis Actor working early this morning, and it works perfectly.
I gotta say now that I put the work in to just grind through the errors and (sometimes nonexistent directly applicable) documentation for my issues Apify really is a powerful platform that I am actually starting to very much enjoy using.
The inital system prompt and the analysis mode tools used in the prompt need refinement to get the desired information out but (if you're interest haha) this is output after downloading and converting the the video url to MP4 and analyzing it for various things:
Keep grinding through everyone, it pays off eventually 🙂

So the prompt and tools are now tuned to produce a detailed analysis report and a detailed instructional template to recreate the original videos style, tone, structure cadence etc.. using any product or service.

Could you let me know what you think in terms of its effectiveness to analyze the original video??
Before I publicly deploy this I still need to better understand:
- How to force people to use their own Gemini API Key
- What the billing structure is for a paid Actor on Apify
- How do I ensure the Actor makes money instead of losing money
If you have any insights into these concerns I'd love to hear them. Hopefully this gets deployed EOD after I'm comfortable with the above concerns.
