Rockstar Games social club Error17(failed to initialize)
I had all my games downloaded onto my Legion go for quite some time now and I absolutely love Bazzite. When I went to go play some red dead redemption two(it doesn’t play as well on my deck) I ran into the issue of it failing to initialize the social club. To make sure this wasn’t an isolated incident, I went on to launch grand theft auto four and grand theft auto five legacy, and then I tried grand theft auto five enhanced today and I get the same error message. Being very frustrated because the most hours that I have played is in all of my rockstar games, I went ahead and put a fresh install of Bazzite on my go this morning. Immediately I downloaded grand theft auto four since it is so small… Same issue on a fresh install. I have now tried to install the AIly version on my go hoping that it will work(I’ll let you know if this fixes the issue because I am about to finish the install and try it right now). Does anybody have a solution to this issue, I really want to finish red dead redemption two and I don’t wanna play it on my steam deck because it plays it about 10 to 15 fps less than on the go. I no longer have windows installed, so I can’t even go that route and just load it through windows. Please let me know
