What belt to wear with these trousers/this outfit?
Not sure what sort of belt goes well with these fatigue style trousers? I'm wearing a very plain and quite thick leather one here as it seemed to suit something rugged but can you get away with something more refined for a look like this? Like a thin er suede belt? Or should I go the other way and try a canvas belt or something ?
I don't know whether it's best to lean into the rugged/military heritage of this type of trousers or try and elevate it with slightly sharper accessories.
Other options I have to hand but don't quite seem to work include a braided belt and a western-buckle belt.
