Steam and idle Gamepad Shutdown Timeout
So i have a 8Bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless.
In Steam there is a setting for Idle Gamepad Shutdown Timeout setting, which is by default 15 minutes.
The timer on it, you can change from 5 minutes to 60 minutes, does not seem to take changes in the timer. Though i only tried 5 minutes, and 30 minutes. But no matter what you put in, the gamepad will instead only shutdown after 15 minutes of idling.
I have tried both on 2.4Ghz and bluetooth on the gamepad, and it's the same issue. I also tried restarting steam after changing the setting, and then connecting the gamepad again.
So does this mean Steam can't control\send shutdown to the gamepad? Should it be able to, aka it's a steam bug? Or is it a gamepad firmware limitation? Or just some other eldritch thing
