Direct X 12 needed for gta 5 enhanced
i keep gettinga dx12 message when i try to launch gta 5 enhanced and i dont know how to fix it

I think the only thing that works for GTA v enhanced is the paid version of crossover (or any rockstart game)

create a new bottle, make sure DXVK is enabled in the crossover UI, and set that bottle in heroic

I have the same issue. Here’s what I tried: I downloaded GTA V Enhanced through Heroic, then created a bottle with Crossover 24.0.7 (24.0.7.37107). I enabled D3DMetal with MSync and High Resolution Mode, ran the game, and the Rockstar launcher started. I was able to log in successfully, but then it prompted me to purchase the game, so I closed it. After that, I used EpicGamesLauncher.exe and the fix.bat, pointing to PlayGTAV.exe. However, when running it, the Rockstar launcher logged in correctly but then crashed without any error message. I also tried disabling D3DMetal and using DXVK instead, but the only difference was that I got the message “DirectX 12 is required, not found.” I tested all combinations of MSync and ESync settings, but there seemed to be no change. I also tried running it with GPTK, Wine, and wine-crossover, even though I know it only works with paid Crossover, but none of them even started the launcher.

I was able to get the same error using Crossover 23 with option "Install DXVK on prefix" and after that switch to Whisky on the same bottle.

No, I didn't found fix for that. I just want to say that it's not only Crossover 24 issue

yeah same here, same issue after updating to crossover 25
