Error Code - Restrict Area

I am originally from Himachal Pradesh, India, but I have been studying in Korea for the past 2.5 years. I recently came back home to India in late February. I play PUBG Mobile a lot, and until yesterday, the game was running fine on almost all ISPs here.
However, after the recent 5.9MB update, I am facing a login issue (Error Code - Restrict Area) while opening the game here in India. Can anyone confirm if the entire country has been restricted after this update? I just want to verify if there is an official notice or announcement regarding this.
