big peak on 35hz on y axis help :/

Hi, i am tuning my v core 4 400mm and i am stuck with problem that my gantry is shaking like crazy on around 30-35Hz which gives me horrible accelerations . I used real time analyzis to test that frequency and i found the carriage is shaking the most , if thighten the belts then whole gantry is shaking.

Have you figure out the issue for the 35Hz peak?

I have found that my screw on the motion system are skew by around 1mm : M5x45 and M5x85 Cap Head Screws. I have ordered new ones. I will test them next week. I will see if it comes from that issue... I have changer my screw, They are not skew (the head of the screw is perfectly square with the body this time). This doesn't solve the issue around 30Hz. Wrong way

I thing that's a quality issue with parts in kit mate I am building right now another rat rig this time same as yours and even tho it's bigger the motion works much better that my previous build even tho I did everything the same way No clue Since i work at company which builds that kind of maschines for customrd I will build another rat rig in few months so we will see But still the biggest isue i am having with this kit is printed parts, oh man, they are horrible. Look awful and have like 2 walls and 10% infill i swear Printed mine with 5 walls and 50% from good quality asa and wasn't able to break that while screwing M6 through it

Maybe a stupid question, are you using a Smart Sensor for Orbiter v2? Could it be a possibility?

Hi, After 5 months, I attempted to get MZV IS graph, my main issue was (I guess) in the XY_joiner assembly : - I have change my assembly by the Funssor light XY joint kit, and turn by 90° the 2020 extrusion (maybe I had overtighten my T-nut in the 2020 extrusion) and I guet MZV, but with huge tension (to my mind) : x is 108hz (with EPDM GT2 belt) and y is 99 hz To improve, I have change 2 Y pulley (facing belt tooth) by home made 22 tooth iddler pulley using 5x10x4 bearing (printable : https://www.printables.com/model/1343636-22-tooth-idler-pulley-rat-rig-vc-4-with-5x10x4-bea) for reminding : I had nice X IS and uggly/unusefull Y IS before this mod. The bad side is the printer should work as it is designed. Thus I didn't figure out what I have done wrong in the assembly. Hope this help 😉

This makes sense... I have same issue at 36 Hz. I get much better results without the hybrid belts. Did you also change the back ideler? The one in the corners by the motors?

I have changed all 4 on Y axis. But on X axis, I didn't notice any improvement.
