rocket league not starting
whenever i use heroic launcher to start rocket league it does not start.

Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton:
1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest"
2. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest"
3. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from
current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings.
Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.harsh-harlequinOP•3mo ago

note that you renamed the wrong folder, you renamed
Prefixes to Prefixes_bak instead of Rocket League to Rockeat League_back, that change you made can break other games, you should revert that folder to be Prefixesharsh-harlequinOP•3mo ago

you shouldn't do both, keep the config as
/home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League, rename the folder as /home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League_bak (it's just so you don't lose this just in cases, heroic will create a new /home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League folder)harsh-harlequinOP•3mo ago

in the case of rocket league you could also delete the original
/home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League folder, the instructions mentions renaming it cause some games have local saves and deleting the prefix folder would delete the saves, but rocket league should have things on the cloud so no risk of lusing things

Try this:
- in the game's settings > advanced tab > check and then uncheck the
Disable UMU option
- in the game's settings > wine tab > set the prefix folder to /home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League (note you still have Prefixes_bak in that log)
- then make sure this folder does NOT exist /home/ali/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League

it may be cause it couldnt download something, deleted prefix and retrying

problem fixed, had to force update, the game would start and crash but i clicked on repair now alls fine
