Seems to be some issue stemming from the version updater returning null on a value.

Can you try disabling the auto updater via the config file at .minecraft/config/distanthorizons.toml?
And you dont need the dh api

I see. it was very much a weird kinda situation. I remade the pack and it was just a massive mod conflict under the hood.
