Chickens in spawn chunks not laying eggs while no players online
Any idea why chickens in spawn chunks wouldn't be laying eggs while players are offline?
I thought it might be due to pause-when-empty-seconds, but I have it set to -1 and the problem persists. I am sure the chunks are still loaded since I set a command block to print on a timer and it continues. I am also within the green entity ticking spawn chunks indicated by MiniHUD.
Attached as images are the logs showing the stopping of the chickens EggLayTime, and the current mods added to the server.

Guess I need to build a chunkloader.
