Slow downloading updates

I'm trying to run

to update my RoG Ally X and the updates seem to be downloading incredibly slowly (initially at normal speeds then after 1 -2 ostree chunks it slows down to 100-200KB/s or so). Testing on Speedtest.net and fast.com show normal download speeds otherwise... Is there any pointers as to what could be going on?
