Nvidia Pascal steam game mode?...
Hey everyone. I just got into bazzite because I like the concept of turning my PC into a HTPC with Steam game mode and to use the system resources as much as possible. Just a console experience.
Now my question. Why are NVIDIA Pascal and Maxwell architectures not supported? They still receive driver updates and support vulkan 1.3 which seems to be a requirement for bazzite in general. So what's the catch then?
I'm just very curious. I plan to move my furniture. And that includes transforming my PC into a HTPC console :steam:
Any explanation is much appreciated! :)
P.s.: I'm familiar with some Linux stuff and have used some other distros too

we will never do it since the support will vanish as soon as nvidia drops support.
plus their proprietary driver does not work with gamemode last we tried (and nvidia has said they will not do any more features for the proprietary drivers, only security fixes)
