What kind of belt can I use with: blue jeans; white/black shirt; white sneakers?
it's basically just that. I don't know what color of belt to use. I'd go beltless, but it's uncomfortable.

tbh theres no right color here, black or brown would both work great
black is probably easier to match with other accessories e.g. if you ever get a leather bag or something. I have never regretted getting an accessory in black

But, is it ok if it's a leather belt? Or would it be better if it's a braided one?

this is ultimately preference, but i tend to default to black braided belt in most cases
i'm not a belt person so have no pref tbh, whatever you think is cooler
There’s not really any high quality ones from what I’ve found, but you can try a reversible belt that’s black on one side and brown on the other
(For context that’s what I use now but I have actually been looking at nicer ones)
Both braided and regular leather ones will look good. Get the one you feel like at the moment, most likely you'd end up buying more eventually. Just don't get too slim or shiny ones.
I’d recommend against reversible belts. The few that I’ve had have worn weirdly on the side I use less often
I think black or brown would both go well with the sneakers. Personally I’d get separate black and brown belts if I needed both colors
