Where do I find the local storage termux uses?
Say i wanna find a git repo I cloned, where is it stored in my phones files?

its inside /data/data/com.termux, you can access it using file browser capable for accessing SAF
Is there a real reason for not being able to access that folder through my phone
the file manager or file explorer in your phone is probably not capable of showing the termux directory.

If Storage Access Framework (SAF) were insecure, would Google add it in Android? From this documentation https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/providers/document-provider, you can see Google Drive is listed in the file manager application.

I found it but i can only open it through uploading a file to an app
