Got banned for using VPN (probably), what can I do?
I'm not exactly sure it was due to VPN, but it's the only reason I can think of. I was banned on a premise of using cheats\other game changing software, but I've never used nothing like that. The only suspicious action on my PC could have been turning on and off the VPN during the match, all of the other processes on the computer have nothing to do with the game. All applications and processes are old, I haven't installed any new software for a long time now.
VPN was used through the Amnezia app. The server is located in Frankfurt, but I was playing on a Stockholm server, so the ping could change a lot during the match (from 20 to 80-100).
For the obvious reason that the topic of cheats in Valorant is complicated, the support didn't give me any specific reason for my ban. They responded in a formulaic way, without looking into my problem deeply, saying that “yes we confirmed that you used cheats”, and would not engage in any discussion beyond that. But there were no programs interacting with the game whatsoever. My account was not given to anyone. . I have a 0.9 kd, I'm a standard plat hardstuck, only touched daimond once. I've spent 200$ on this game, which for my country (Russia), this amount is quite large. I am a poor student living in a dormitory and i spend all the scholarship on skins in Valorant.
My guess would be that me constantly turning VPN on and off triggered something in Vanguard, perhaps they messed something up with this new update or something idk.
P.S. I also couldn't attach any further context for my support ticket, even though they have an option for it and say to do that (my new massages got deleted before being sent). I also could not post about this on any official reddit pages, meaning no actual human being would look at my problem, only bots.
