game is unplayable
this started around the end of the last act to until now, game is completely unplayable. started getting insanely annoying ping spikes for absolutely no reason when my ping is usually 25-40 (i play on frankfurt and london servers) ive tried everything, reinstalling the game, ping loopback, flushing dns, restarting the wifi. Lost so much rr in the game cause of it too. constantly teleporting all over the place, suddenly dead or tped out of the spot j was originally in even though i didnt move

yo @ri get all of the networks graphs enabled and check if you get Packetloss or latency jitter jumps
this is what they currently look like, not spiking as much as usual but i have a screenshot from yesterday where i was non stop spiking too

these are the screenshots from yesterday, basically it gets progressively worse the more i play

i just loaded into a game so ill keep them on
currently spiking again

alright, do you play on wifi ?
yes
can you try ethernet cable ?
im currently not able to unfortunately
alright we need to make sure its not the wifi, do a constant ping to your gateway IP, you can check the IP out by typing ipconfig in cmd prompt
Eĺlo sensei, can u slap jio telecom on the butt so they stop doubling my ping :val_HelloBro:
Tripling actually
leave it running while you play Valorant and check back if it jumped when you had a major packetloss
then we will know its wifi problem
What could it mean if all players within a 20 kms radius experience upto 30% of packet loss at the same time by a single isp for about 2-3 hours every now and then :val_HelloBro:
ping only spiked like twice in cmd prompt to a little over a hundred or so
congestion or they have bad light on their Core fibres 💀
not good, if that jumps to 100 you will see it in the game as well
yeah but it spikes more ingame than on the cmd prompt 😭
idk its been like this for over a month now
sometimes it doesnt spike at all and then like a hour in it spikes for the next 6 hours
u from the balkans?
cause my wifi was completely fine until like a month ago
in game ping service and latency checks are more frequent... ticks are faster than 1second
wifi works on channels, you neighbour can use the same channel as you do and that will cause congestion. or even at home many users can diminish the service
try restarting router, sometimes that helps, your internet will drop for few minutes but shoudl refresh cache of the router
Nah
trust me ive tried multiple times
idk what else to do
My area prob has the least internet users in all of india ngl
cable :val_KekwSob:
