Epic fail challenge captcha
Trying to make purchases and do the captcha it fails every time.
What can I do to fix this
Heroic on my tv pc works for the captcha, but on my gaming pc is does not

also epic's sometimes doesnt work in firefox, so be sure to use a different browser

Claiming free Epic Games from within Heroic was working fine until 2-3 weeks ago, now it always fails captcha verification on checkout (without ever showing any sort of captcha). Did something change in Heroic or is it a problem with EGS?

Epic could have changed something on their end. I had to unblock a few new scripts to get it to work in a firefox derivative...

No epic's captchas have always had issues. You were just fortunate to not hit them until recently

its not heroic its that epic's captcha changed
it wasnt after the update as i've had the update for a while and only recently has epic had issue

nope its heroic made some kind mistake and it works great on older version
you can try for yourself to see if im wrong or right.

i wasnt able to purchase for weeks since 2.16.1 came out
i just did claim games on older version just fine.

Decided to use the 2.16.0 AppImage from Github.
This version doesn't have the "failed captcha" issue unlike 2.16.1.
So the captcha issue is related to Heroic launcher. I haven't had any issue solving Epic captchas when using Heroic until Heroic version 2.16.1 .

I can confirm it appears to be fixed in 2.17.0.
