tunnel with wildcard

If I setup DNS via IP address then I can create a CNAME for a wildcard and everything works. If I setup tunnels then the base domain works, but I can't get the subdomains to work with a wildcard. If I specify the subdomain in the tunnel config then they work, but I don't want to specify each subdomain. If I add a public hostname with a wildcard in the tunnel config then it doesn't seem to do anything. If I manually add a CNAME in the DNS records that also doesn't seem to work with tunnels whether I specify my domain or the tunnel ID for the target.

I was able to set it up. I did have to manually make the DNS record for the wildcard public hostname https://*.wc.community.cyberjake.xyz/ will load example.com
