Forge Server with terrible performance

Performance is terrible, saw that beachparty takes a lot of server tick and there are lots of chunks loaded. We are also considering switching to a better CPU and we know that this is far from optimal.
Any advice on how to improve the situation, at least temporarily? Anything what eats especially performance? Any help would be appreciated!
